Gerry "Cleve" Howard, 84, of Mauriceville, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at his home.
Cleve was born August 25, 1935 in Hackberry, Louisiana to Luther Vincent Howard and Leora Vincent Howard. He was a resident of Mauriceville for 27 years and a member of the Catholic faith.
Cleve was the Area Vice President of Austin Industrial and a US Army Veteran.
A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 1:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
Cleve was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Howard.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Delores "Dee" Howard of Mauriceville, Texas; daughters, Paula Fruge and husband Lonnie of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Patricia Varela and husband Raul of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Barbara Harris and husband Charlie of Port Neches, Texas; sons, Mark Howard and wife Leesa of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Scott Howard and wife Kelly of Lake Charles, Louisiana; step-sons, Todd Comstock and wife Lydia of Port Neches, Texas, and David Comstock and wife Beckie of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sister, Beth Howard of Austin, Texas; brothers, Jack Howard and wife Esther of San Antonio, Texas, and Jerry Howard of Sulphur, Louisiana; and 12 grandchildren.
