Gertrude Virginia Kame, 76, of Groves, Texas passed away January 9, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was born May 20, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Roy and Marcella Daniels Lipker. Virginia retired as manager from Rand Oil Co.A memorial service will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Wolf officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.Virginia is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herbert Kame, Jr. She is survived by 4 daughters, Sherry Kame Hollier and husband Michael of Groves, Tammy Kame Chapman of Groves, Wendy Kame Romero of Port Acres, and Renee Kame Willis and husband Wesley of Groves son, Herbert John Kame and wife Donna of Groves 9 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
