Gillis "Pat" Cole, 71, of Groves, Texas passed away Friday, January 3, 2014. "Pat" was born April 9, 1942 in Louisiana to Gillis D. Cole and Carmen Hall Cole. He was a resident of Groves for 28 years and self employed owner of Groves Car Care. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Cole of Groves; two daughters, Appie Hall and husband Kristopher of Nederland, Holly Roam and husband Joshua of Groves; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Dr. Joe Worley officiating. Burial will be in Big Creek Cemetery in Pollock, Louisiana. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
