Girthy Marie Guilbeaux Prejean 83Girthy Marie Guilbeaux is now in eternal rest and peace with her Lord and Savior.She was delivered into His arms on Sunday, August 28, 2011.Girthy died in her home surrounded by her Husband, Alfred, her children, and grandchildren who prayed and celebrated her life with her until God called her home. Girthy, who devoted her life as a wife, a mother, and a friend to so many, will be greatly missed, but not forgotten. She lived her final moments on earth the way she lived all the days of her life, filled with family, faith and courage.Girthy left this world with a stead belief knowing that her faith would bridge her lifefrom this worldly one to one of everlasting joy with her Father in Heaven. Though wewill miss her, we will continue to rejoice and celebrate her life as she would have wanted us to, and to love and praise a Mighty God who placed her in our lives. Her final gift to eachof us is knowing that we need only to pray in the days ahead and it would be there that we will find her. Mrs. Prejean leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband of 65 years, Dr. Alfred Prejean of Fort Worth, Texas, one son, John Reed and wife Carol Ann of Arlington,Texas, two daughters, Paula Goldman of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kerri Pettigrew and herHusband Frank Pettigrew of Mansfield, Texas.Girthy loved and will be missed by 4 grandchildren as well, Ashton Prejean and wife Brittany, Candice Proctor and husband DLynn, and Taylor and Spencer Pettigrew. She will rejoice in Heaven with those who have preceded her in death, her Mother, Annie and Father, L.C. Guilbeaux.
