Gladys B. Davis, 90, of Port Neches, Texas died Monday, December 28, 2009 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. Gladys was born April 13, 1919 in Marshall, Texas to P.J. Cornelius and Effie Nelson Cornelius. She was a resident of Port Neches for 62 years and a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Neches. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Rev. Peter J. Cammarano, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the funeral home. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, W.R. "Bubba" Davis, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Wilma Pace of Point Blank, Texas; son, Robert N. Davis of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Debbie LaRue and husband, Larry of Port Neches, Texas; Jill Carriere and husband, David of Port Neches, Texas; Dorie Farber and husband, James of Bridgeport, Texas; great grandchildren, Erica Bradley and husband, Tony of Shreveport, Louisiana; Dustin Andros and wife, Melissa of Bridgeport, Texas and Alex Wilson of Bridgeport, Texas. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church Port Neches Building Fund.
