Glenda Vanover Burnaman, 79 of Nederland, Texas passed away March 8, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was born in Henderson County, Texas on December 18, 1933 to the late Winfred and Oma Frances Willett Thompson. Glenda was the owner and operator of Flowers By Vanover in Nederland and a member of theFirst Church of God.Funeral services will be held at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., Pastor Keith Beckman officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the funeral home.Glenda is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Tom Burnaman of Nederland son, Carlos Vanover of Houston sisters, Ann Chapman of Beauxart Gardens and Mary Dennis of Nederland brothers, Joe Thompson of Clute and Karl Frank Thompson of Nederland grandson, Chase Vanover and several nieces and nephews.
