Glenda Ann Marchand

Glenda Ann Marchand, 71, of Nederland passed away on October 5, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She was born in Monroe, LA, on January 9, 1942 to the late Robert DeShazo and Catherine Brown and was a lifetime area resident.

Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Brother Hayes officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Darrell Marchand, Sr., sons, Darrell Marchand, Jr. and his wife Arnese; Elvin Marchand and his wife Denette; Terry Marchand and his wife Melissa; Lance Marchand; daughter, Debra Meaux and her husband Craig, all of Nederland; brother Elvin DeShazo of Spring, TX; sister, Janice Goyens of Mauriceville, TX; fifteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Glenda is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
