      Glenn Hebert, passed away on November 3, 2024, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas, at the age of 75. Born on May 24, 1949, in Port Arthur, Glenn was a man of many talents and passions who dedicated his life to his family.

      After graduating Port Neches-Groves High School, Glenn honorably served in the United States Army. Following military service, he began a dedicated career in the workforce, initially working in the steel gang department at Texaco. His journey led him to become a Heavy Equipment Operator for Austin Industrial before continuing his career at Huntsman, eventually retiring from Flint Hills

      Glenn was a devoted member of Grace Baptist Church in Groves. He was also a member of the United Steel Workers Union and served as an Advisory Board member of Officer Bryan Hebert Memorial Foundation, highlighting his commitment to honoring the memory of his son. Additionally, he was involved with Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS), further reflecting his dedication to service.

      Glenn served in the United States Army, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and commitment. He brought that same dedication to his family, ensuring they were always encouraged to persevere. He was known for his funny sense of humor and his heart of gold, qualities that endeared him to all who knew him.

      Glenn's hobbies reflected his love for the outdoors and culinary delights. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, grilling, gardening, and cooking. A fan of trying new things, he would often be found watching cooking shows and movies, always eager to learn or to share a meal with those he loved.

      Glenn is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Cyndi Hebert of Groves; daughter, Holly Hebert of Port Neches; brothers, James Hebert and his wife Linda of Laurel Hill, FL; Dennis Hebert and his wife Christi of Nederland, TX; sisters, Carolyn Hanley of Springfield, IL; Debbie Holland and her husband Ryn of Nederland, TX; sister-in-law, Liz Hebert of Nederland, TX; brother-in-law, Jimmy Evans and his wife Cheryl of Nederland, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

      Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey and Otis Hebert; his son, Officer Bryan Hebert; brothers, Wayne Hebert and Steven Hebert; and his mother and father-in-law, Mary Lou and Bob Evans.

      Serving as pallbearers include Skylar Evans, Nathan Hebert, Ryan Hebert, James Paul Hebert, Jason Hanley and Aaron Girouard. 

      A visitation will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Grace Baptist Church, located at 3417 Berry Avenue, Groves, TX 77619. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Military honors will be provided by The Southeast Texas Veterans Service Group. Glenn's caring, humble, and indomitable spirit will be cherished and remembered by all whose lives he touched.
