Dr. Glenn Lacy, Sr. 82, of Nederland, Texas., passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on June 18, 1935 to the late, Emmett Lacy and Ruby Finley Lacy.

Dr. Lacy owned a general dental practice and practiced dentistry in the area for 36 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years, Gay Nell Lacy; daughter, Jana Beeson of Nederland; sons, Glenn Lacy, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Nederland, Dr. Trey Lacy of Nederland; grandchildren, Jennifer Grounds, Ryan Grounds, Jacey Reynolds, Allen Lacy, Amanda Lacy, Jason Lacy, Jayna Lacy and Evan Lacy; great-grandchildren, Evelyn Grounds, Grace Grounds, Henry Lacy and Emily Lacy.

Dr. Lacy was my dentist until he retired. He was such a nice man. He always had a kind spirit and seemed to genuinely care about me. I feel blessed to have known him. I love his entire family.

I met Dr Lacy and his family on Thanksgiving 2017. They are the most kind and wonderful family. I’m sure they will miss their loved one, but he I is at peace and will suffer no more. I am so so sorry for your loss and send my love to everyone. Marie Romero.

He was more than just our dentist! My children loved going to see Dr & Mrs Lacey! Halloween was like Christmas with special hand picked treats for them. So sorry for your loss!
