Glenn Alan Mabry, 81, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at his residence in Nederland with his loving family by his side.
Glenn was born on April 1, 1942, in Beaumont, Texas. He graduated from Beaumont High in 1960 and later went to T.C.U. and graduated from there in 1964. Glenn was a retired executive with Metal Forms, Inc. for over forty years and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. He loved to fish and hunt and he especially like going to the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles with his wife of forty-one years, Stella and other family members and friends. Glenn loved his family dearly and treated everyone with love and kindness.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Cavaretta Mabry of Nederland; children, Susan Murff and her husband Bill of Magnolia, Texas, Amy Bryant and her husband Chase of Kansas City, Kansas, Mark Glover of Nederland, Allyson Mabry of Kansas City and Michele Clements and her husband Jim of Nederland; grandchildren, Mandy Kuftic and her husband George, Jason Murff, Mabry Glover, Joshua Clements, Brayden Clements, Connor Bryant and Rylie Bryant; great grandchildren, Hailey Kuftic, Henry Kuftic, Harrison Kuftic, Harper Kuftic and Hollyn Kuftic; brother-in-law’s, Lewis Cavaretta of Tyler, Texas and Phin Washer of Houston, Texas; two dear friends, Ann Reynolds and Cindy Meyers.
A gathering of friends and family will take place from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, with a Rosary to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland. A Chapel Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Ray Hunter, Rich Fledderjohn, Sid Ginakis, Henry Hinijosea, Bryce Gregg and Tommy Taylor
