Glenn Stevens McNeel, Sr.

Glenn Stevens McNeel, Sr. 87, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Brookdale Dowlen Oaks Senior Living in Beaumont, Texas.

He was born February 9, 1934 in Beaumont, Texas to Lee McNeel and Aby Pierce McNeel.

Glenn was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Magnolia Church in Port Neches.

He retired from Ameripol Synpol where he was an Electrical Supervisor with 38 years of service. He was a member of IBEW for 55 years.

Glenn proudly served his country in the US Army and also in the US Army Reserves.

Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Magnolia Church in Port Neches with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Robby McGee officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches.

A private family graveside will be held at Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Aby McNeel, sister, Velma Dyson, and brother, Sonny McNeel.

Surviving relatives include his wife of 66 years, Nell McNeel of Port Neches, Texas; sons, Steve McNeel and wife Polly of Port Neches, Texas and Jeff McNeel and wife Ronda of Lumberton, Texas; daughters, Vicki Morgan and husband Charles of Port Neches, Texas and Vanessa McGee and husband Robby of Frisco, Texas; sisters, Hilda Diehl of Beaumont, Texas, Earline McCormick of Atlanta, Georgia, Linda Leger and husband Everett of Lumberton, Texas; grandchildren, Justin McNeel and wife Linsey of Lumberton, Texas, Jana Daigle and husband Chase of Beaumont, Texas, Brittney Moore of Dallas, Texas, Bailey Moore of Port Neches, Texas, and Tyler McGee and wife Summer of Frisco, Texas; great grandchildren, Sweyzie McNeel, Benji McNeel, Mase McGee, Scottie McGee, and Stella McGee.

Pallbearers will be: Steve McNeel, Jeffrey McNeel, Charles Morgan, Justin McNeel, Chase Daigle, and Tyler McGee.
