Gloria June Kinchen

Gloria June Kinchen, 92, of Groves, Texas was called home by the Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. June was born December 13, 1926 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lawless Sinitier and Edith Bulah Hudson. She was a resident of Groves for 76 years, a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and a member of Texas Order of the Eastern Star for 61 years. June was employed by Marine Fueling Service as the bookkeeper and retired after 40 years of service. She loved spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching old cowboy and war movies, and she was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan, and enjoyed travels with friends. June was preceded in death by her husband Norman Kinchen; her parents, one brother and one sister. She leaves behind her loving son, Nick Kinchen and wife Jackie Kinchen; grandchildren, Brandon Kinchen, Grant Kinchen and Haley Kinchen; great-grandchildren, Tripp Kinchen and Charlee Kinchen; and a sister, Fran Bynum. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home located at 5601 39th Street, Groves, Texas 77619. The funeral services will be held Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home with entombment ceremony to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, located at 3955 Twin City Hwy in Groves, Texas.
