My dear sweet Aunt, I already miss you dearly. Picking up the phone and talking as often as we did will not be forgotten but treasured forever. My heart is heavy today, knowing those days are gone. You gave me so much love and made me feel so special. I felt so proud to introduce you as my aunt. Your beauty and grace shined through from the inside out. I have so much admiration for you. Rest in peace dear aunt, spread your love and kindness to all the people you are reunited with in heaven and give my dad a hug for me and let him know how much I love and miss him. Until we meet again, just know how much you are loved by me and my family. Rosie, Steve and Kyle

Our "Talbot" family lived down the street from Mrs. Minter. Things I remember growing up - she was always such a classy lady, her yard always looked awesome (I think her and my Mama had a contest going as to whose yard looked the best :). Rest in Peace Mrs. Minter. Gina Talbot Gutierrez

AS A CHILD IN HER NEIGHBORHOOD, I FEARED HER AS A PARENT, BECAUSE CHILDREN WERE TO RESPECT THEIR ELDERS, AND, IF YOU MISBEHAVED, THE ELDERS COULD, AND WOULD CORRECT YOU. MRS. MINTER WAS A BEAUTIFUL LADY, INSIDE AND OUT, AND I LOVED HER AND HER FAMILY. REKINDLED WITH HER 2 SONS, BUGGAR AND WAYNE WAY AFTER GRADUATION, AND IT HAS BEEN A BLESSING TO BE PART OF THE MINTER FAMILY. HER YARD WAS MY INSPIRATION FOR PLANTING MONKEY GRASS AROUND MY FENCE AND TREES. IT'S FUNNY HOW LITTLE THINGS MEAN SO MUCH, WHEN GOD HAS CALLED HIS ANGEL HOME. YOU REST IN PEACE BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, AND YOUR CHILDREN. PRAY THERE ARE CANDLES IN HEAVEN FOR YOU TO SMELL AND BURN.
