Gloria Taylor

Gloria W. Taylor, 86, of Groves passed away on March 21, 2013 at The Oak Grove Nursing Home. Gloria was a native of Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Groves since 1949. She retired from the Groves Library.Private services were held by the family as requested by Gloria W. Taylor under the ion of Melancons Funeral Home.She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar A. Taylor, and is survived by her son, Tommy Taylor and his wife, Charmain of Groves, and daughters, Susan Taylor Marek and husband, Dan of Austin, and Kathy Taylor Delgado and husband, Louis of Delaware. Gloria is also survived by six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.The Taylor family would like to thank her caretakers at Oak Grove Nursing Home and also Debra Babineaux for her kindness and friendship of being her caretaker for 4 years.
