Gracie Lee Wheeler

Gracie L. Wheeler, 81, of Port Neches, Texas passed away May 8, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. She was born August 25, 1931 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Gilbert and Janie Perry Davenport. Gracie was a manager for H R Block, and also a teller with Republic of Texas.Graveside services will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Jason Burden officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland.Gracie is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Candace Wheeler. She is survived by her husband, Cloran Wheeler son, Randall Scott Wheeler, Sr. grandson, Scott Wheeler, Jr. and wife, Kristen soninlaw, Gary Thibodeaux sister, Fay Burke of Nashville, TN brother, Jerry Peek of Nashville, TX greatgrandchildren, Aliana Grace Wheeler, Evan Randall Wheeler, and Morgan Nash Thibodeaux many nieces and nephews and many close friends. She will be missed dearly.
