Grover Rodney Walker, Jr., 58, 0f Nederland, Texas passed away October 31, 2020. He was born in Melder, Louisiana on April 3, 1962 to Grover Rodney Walker, Sr. and Elouise Watson Walker. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Army. He worked in the oil field industry for 30 years. During this time he traveled the country and made many friends along the way. He loved his family and lived life to the fullest.

Those left to cherish Grover’s memory are his wife of 5 years, Jennise Davis Walker of Nederland; his son, Chet Walker and his wife, Brooke of Bridge City; his daughter, Heather Tweito and her husband, Tim of Las Vegas, Nevada; his father, Grover Rodney Walker, Sr. and his wife, Yvonne of Pineville, Louisiana; and his brothers, Jake Walker and his wife, Sandy of Libuse, Louisiana and Clay Walker and his wife, Kim of Leander, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his mother, Elouise Walker.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2020. A graveside service will be held at Alexandria Memorial Gardens in Alexandria, Louisiana on a later date to be announced.
