Guadalupe LeBlanc

1938 ∼ 2021

Guadalupe LeBlanc, 82, of Nederland, Texas passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, October 14, 2021. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 22, 1938 to the late, Fernando Ramirez and Eulalie Collazo Ramirez.

Guadalupe was a devout Catholic. She loved and practiced her faith daily. She was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur. She was an active member of the Senior Club, the Alter Society and she volunteered numerous hours at the church year-round.

In addition to her parents, Guadalupe is preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Stanley LeBlanc; her brothers, Tony Ramirez, Sr., Luz Ramirez, Frank Ramirez, Joe Ramirez and Jessie Villarreal.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Fernando “Lonnie” LeBlanc and his wife, Maryanne of LaBelle, Texas; her daughter, Julie Arthur and her husband, John of Kingwood, Texas; her sister, Rose Rumsey of Orangefield, Texas; grandsons, Tyler LeBlanc, Tanner LeBlanc, Logan Anderson and Canaan Anderson; granddaughters, Jayme Peres and her husband, Ric, and Jaci Anderson; great-granddaughter, Sophia Peres and an expected great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Anne Peres and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Monday evening, October 18, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur, Texas on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Father Jacob Mado, Celebrant. Interment will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Groves, Texas at a later date.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Tyler LeBlanc, Tanner LeBlanc, Logan Anderson, Canaan Anderson, Lionel Ramirez, Wade Salazar, Marcus Salazar and Nicholas Salazar.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have never met her but I can say she along with her husband has raised their children with great morals that they have passed to their children. Like Aunt Kay told me ' It is never good bye it is see you later'!
