She is Nan Gussie to me. She was my mothers oldest sibling. She was my mothers and my Godmother. My mother loved her dearly, as I do. I did not get to see her very often, even before my mom passed away but she was on my mind and in my heart. There are alot of memories. When Nan Gussie Uncle Wilson were still in Port Acres, Mom would pick her up and would go pay bills and shop together. Faye, Margarett, and I would be in the back seat. I will truly miss her and always love her. I will also cherish all the memories.Love Judy Evans daughter of Hazel Abshire Evans

Her toys were homemade and her blankets were sewn from old clothes from her past. And you knew she was Priceless. When it was rare to ever find ONE four leaf clover, my grandmother could walk away with a handful. I never questioned it. I just knew she was that special. I treasured her.She was the cool wind blowing on a Summer day, she was the smell of Spring, she was a smile that stopped Time Itself when she looked your way. When the world always had a cruel way of going on with life as if other ppl were never in it, my grandmother was the only One person I knew that would never happen with. She was indeed a GRAND Mother. All her grandkids were just as close to her as her own children. She loved us ALL, Even our close friends, as her very own.Love, Lisa LeMaire daughter of Raylan and Annie
