Uncle Gus- we will miss you, and yet you will remain in our hearts forever. A true man of God, devoted brother, husband and father. When my father in law had a heart attack 2 years ago, it was Gus who managed to get the ICU nurse's personal cell number so he could monitor his brother's situation. The ICU nurse walks into my father in law's room with her cell phone in hand and says "GUESS WHO.." Such love! When my 3 kids graduated from high school Uncle Gus sent them personal handwritten notes which they cherish to this day by talking about it often.Such positive influence! RIP Uncle Gus..yours was a life well lived!

We offer our condolences at this time of sorrow and pray for your strenth to endure in Christ. Our grandson sent you the following message: I am Nicolas. I am 6 years old. Dear God, just heal this man that papa and nanny is about to see. (He was talking about you. We were about to go to the funeral home; however, we ended up at the wrong one on Nall Street and could not get to the other one in time, nor did we know how to get there). We are sorry, we did not make it. May the peace of God be with you and cause His face to shine on you. Donald and Sharlene and Nicolas

Dear Robicheaux Family, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in knowing that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) While grief at the loss of Gustave is great, joy at receiving him back in the resurrection will be greater. (Mark 5;42) With deepest sympathy,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very difficult time. Mr. Robicheaux was always happy and up beat when we would see him. And we will never forget his saying he would say for my son when he walked into Mr. Robicheaux's house. He would say Derek, the man with a plan. We love you all, Gary,Susie and Derek R.I.P.
