Gwenda Ratcliff

Gwenda Ratcliff, 84, of Groves, passed away on October 17, 2022, at her residence in Groves.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

Visitation will be at 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves

She was born in Welsh, LA, on October 17, 1938, she was the daughter of Merle Henning and Elaine Walker.

She was married to her husband Carl Shannon Ratcliff for twenty-seven years. She was the Vice President of Tellers at First Bank and Trust in Groves for over thirty years. Se was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Groves.

She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-seven years Carl Shannon Ratcliff and a special friend for many years Jack Lundy.

She is survived by her son, Shannon Ratcliff of Groves, TX; two grandchildren, Shea Ratcliff, and Carli Ratcliff and one great-grandchild, Greysen Stark; sister, Beverly Rush and her husband Charles Manderville, La.
