Harril Hillmon Shirley

Harril Hillmon Shirley, age 82, of Nederland passed away on November 24, 2012, at his home. He was born in Cotton Valley, La., to the late Charlie Allen Shirley and Nettie Faye Brown on January 27, 1930. Harril was an area resident for over 65 years.He retired from Texaco Chemical as a warehouseman with 36 years of service and was a member of Triangle Baptist Church.He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Michelle DNyse Henry.Harril is survived by his wife, Audrey L. Shirley of Nederland daughter, Linda L. Sanders of Nederland sons, Harold Shirley of Houston and Eric K. Shirley of Folsom, CA sister Mary Wynn of Springhill, LA. 12 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Triangle Baptist Church, 3605 N. Hwy 69 in Nederland, interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 26 at Melancons Funeral Home.
