Harry Joseph Girouard, 96, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. He was born May 11, 1923 in Loreauville, Louisiana to Euzebe Girouard and Noelie Segura Girouard. Harry was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Groves Knights of Columbus #3491 and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was retired from Gulf Oil as a pipefitter after 35 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend J.C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Harry is survived by two daughters, Gayle Hurley of Beaumont, Texas and Gisele Dailey of Beaumont, Texas, son, James K. Girouard and wife Carol of Wichita Falls, Texas, twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Dale Girouard.
