Helen Louise Davis

Helen Louise Greer Davis, 92, of Missouri City, Texas passed away on November 10, 2009 at her home. She was born May 14, 1917 in Joplin, Missouri to the late George and Virga May Gipson Greer. She was active in Nederland Christian Church, Washington Blvd. Christian Church, and Memorial Christian Church. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, and was an avid poet.She was the loving mother of Benny Frank Davis and wife, Judy of Joplin, MO, Larry Lee Davis of Hemphill, TX, Richard A. Davis and wife, Shirley K. of Nederland, TX, Russell Mark Davis of Grand Prairie, TX, and Deborah Collings and husband Michael of Missouri City, TX sister of Marvin Greer and Margaret Eleanora Parker, both of Joplin, MO cherished grandmother of 17 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents husband of 57 years, Ben Moore Davis 2 sisters, Georgie Blizzard and Dorothy Jones brother, Robert Greer and a grandson.
