Henry "Bubba" Wakefield Jr.

Henry “Bubba” Wakefield, Jr., 77, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in Cypress, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

He will be laid to rest at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Mineral Springs, Arkansas, on Thursday, August 11, 2022, 11:00 a.m.

“Bubba” was born in Falfurrias, Texas, on July 18, 1945. He was the son of Henry Ollie Wakefield and Irene Jones. He was a resident of Port Neches for many years. He worked at TOTAL refinery as an operator for 38 years. He engaged in the military service under the branch of the Army. He always had a smile on his face. He was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Erline Wakefield of 52 years.

He is survived by daughter, Stephany Whisenhunt and husband Tommy of Jasper, Texas; daughter, Penny Gupta and husband Vivek of Haridwar, India; daughter, Terri Davis and husband Steven of Nederland, Texas; 9 grandchildren, Blake Wakefield; Clinton Pitts and wife Candace; Jessica Pitts; Taylor Melancon; Tori Melancon; Corben Davis; Henry Davis; Avni Gupta; and Sarah Rodriguez; 5 great- grandchildren, Liberty; Carrigan; Hagen; Liddy; and Arianna.
