Henry Joseph LeBlanc, Jr.

Henry Joseph LeBlanc Jr. (Little Henry) 92 years old, passed away on Monday April 8th, 2013 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, after a short illness He was born January 27, 1921 in Beaumont, Texas to his parents Henry J. LeBlanc Sr. and Wilma Burnett LeBlanc. He married Juanita Vaughan on April 10, 1942 and had 4 sons and remained married until her death in 1990. He was known to many around Port Arthur as Little Henry. Henry had worked for the family business, Standard Brass for his entire life and did not finally retire until he was almost 80 years old. Henry and Juanita lived in Port Arthur during their early years but moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1951. They returned to Port Arthur in 1954 and remained in Port Arthur until moving to Toledo Bend Lake in the 1980's. Henry finally got off the lake and moved to Beaumont in 2005 and spent most of his time at Collier Park. Little Henry was the oldest of 4 siblings, a sister Loraine Jones (who passed away in 2011), two brothers, William (Billy) B. LeBlanc (who resides in Houston) and Robert (Bobby) E. LeBlanc (who passed away in 2012) He is survived by his 4 sons, Henry (Buddy) J. LeBlanc III, Edward Allen LeBlanc, David Bouldin LeBlanc and Richard "Rick" LeBlanc and four daughter in-laws, Mary LeBlanc, Casey LeBlanc, Hedy LeBlanc and Peggy LeBlanc. In addition to their 4 children, Henry and Juanita are survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Services are scheduled for Saturday June 1, at 4 pm at the All Souls Chapel located in Greenlawn Cemetary. Immediately following the services, a Memorial Reception will be held at the Park Central Holiday Inn at Hwy 69 and Jimmy Johnson Blvd, for friends and family to come remember and rejoice in the wonderful life of Henry J. LeBlanc Jr. Graveside service at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Research.
