Henry Allen Pedigo, 87, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Henry was born December 21, 1929 in Woodville, Texas to Henry Clay Pedigo and Jewel Best Pedigo. He was a resident of Groves for 65 years and was a deacon at First Baptist Church of Groves, where he co-founded the weekly Prayer Warrior Ministry with his wife Joyce. Henry retired from Texaco after 33 years and also served in the National Guard and Army Reserve for 26 years. Henry was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Joyce; and his son Terry Allen Pedigo. Henry is survived by his sons, Mike Pedigo and wife Kerry of Nederland, Texas and Mark Pedigo and wife Margo of Spanish Fort, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Debbie Pedigo of Humble, Texas; sister Dorothy Mills and husband Raymond of Groves, Texas; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with Dr. Joe Worley and Reverend Charles Miller officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
