Henry H. Walker, 86, of Hamshire, Texas passed away Monday, March 16, 2015. Henry was born January 3, 1929 in Newton, Mississippi to Henry Benjamin Walker and Hortense Lawson Walker. He was an area resident for 68 years and member of Central Baptist Church in Port Arthur. Henry retired as a welder from Texaco after 38 years of service. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Neva Walker of Hamshire, TX; son, Choya Walker and wife Lydia of Hamshire, TX; sister, Elizabeth McBeath of Florence, MS; brother, Ronald Walker and wife Suzane of Newton, MS; two grandchildren, Kimberly Kirkland and husband Kevin, Kacie Araujo and husband Armando; four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Addison, Ashton and Kyler. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves with Dr. Phil Sigman officiating. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to: Central Baptist Church of Port Arthur or the American Cancer Society.

Mrs Walker and Choya, I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Walker passing. I'm sure he is up there with my Dad right now getting caught up.
