Herman H. Jones

Herman H. Jones, 82, of Groves, Texas passed away, Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in Groves, Texas. Herman was born February 17, 1935 in Hemphill, Texas to Louis Jones and Mary Bragg Jones. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of First United Methodist Church in Groves. Herman was the Manager of Fleckman Lumber and was a hard worker. He was a good hunter and loved being in the woods. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery in Milam, Texas with Reverend Marty Boddie officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Groves. Herman was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Jones, one sister, Geraldine Thompson, and two brothers, L. C. Jones and Charles L. Jones. He is survived by his son, Jason Jones of Groves, Texas.
