Horace J. Schnelzer, age 90, of Groves, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015. He was a Veteran of WWII. Horace is survived by his two daughters, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, son, grandson, parents, and his sister. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, with Reverend Richard Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be held from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
