Dear Janice and girls, You were such sweet neighbors for all those years. Our kids still remember playing with your girls. We thought ya'll had the best food and I still have the recipe for the barbecue sauce. It was amazing! We are so sorry for your loss and know you will miss Howard daily. Still remember the "squirrel feud" and laugh about it. I only hope Howard could laugh about it later on. Please accept our sincerest prayers for God's peace in your lives.

I'm saddened by the passing of my best friend Howie for the last 50 years. I remember all the good times we had together. Howard had a great mechanical mind, a very good memory, and if you ask he always helped you with knowledge and support. He was a good cook and gardener. Howard told me after the first day at DuPont, he realized the company worked on a military frame and for next 30 years that is the way he approached the work place. Howard looked at life different then other people from different prospective. I understood him and enjoyed being around him. He loved his 4 girls and his wife Janice. He did not trust many people and was a quiet man. I miss my good best Howard, and had the opportunity to tell him that I cared for his life. Howard was a good man in his hart. May the good Lord have Grace on his family.
