Inez Berwick Landry

Inez Marie Berwick Landry, 94, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur. Inez was born on October 15, 1917 in Loreauville, Louisiana to Sidney Demahy and Edna Boutte Demahy. She was a longtime resident of Groves and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a member and past president of Immaculate Conception Altar Society. Survivors include her daughter, Edna JoAnn Chaisson of Walker, LA; sons, Claude R. Berwick and wife, Sheila of Beaumont, TX, Sidney James Berwick and wife, Phyllis of Port Neches, TX; grandchildren, Christy Smith and husband, Stanley, Alicia Rector and husband, Rob, Joan Marie Chaisson, John Chaisson and wife, Jenny, Jennifer Coward and husband, James , Claude Chaisson, Christopher Chaisson; great grandchildren, Sydney, Bethany, Logan, Ashlyn, Rob IV, Dylan, Devin, Skylar, Caleb, and Maddy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves, Texas. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service conducted at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
