Irene Marie Vaughn Breaux

Irene Marie Vaughn Breaux, 91, of Port Arthur, Texas received her eternal reward and heavenly body as she passed away on December 5, 2015 at Jefferson Rehabilitation in Beaumont, Texas. The special day of December 5th will be a memorable date for all of her family and friends who witnessed her loving relationship with her heavenly father. She was born on July 25, 1924 to the late Louis Vaughn and Naomi Bonin Vaughn.

Those who will carry her in their hearts and always love her are her loving children, Cordell Breaux and wife Elizabeth, Connie Stafford and husband John, Chris Buchanan and husband Alex and Craig Breaux and wife Krista; Grandchildren, Matthew Day, Nancy Miller, Sarah Barkley and husband Nate, Aaron Pelloat, Stephanie Pulliam and husband James, Scott Buchanan and wife Jenny and Rebekah Smith; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Flavia Stone and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elton Breaux; brothers, Claude, Gilman and Ronald Vaughn, sisters; Eve Plessala, Della Melancon and Mildred Vaughn.

Special thanks to her cousin, Gale Talbot, who watched over her like a guardian angel, her angel of a hospice nurse; Laquinta, who lovingly attended to her and her family. A special thank you also goes to her sitters, Felicia Jones, Consuella Harrison, Ella Chambers, Regina Francis and Barbara Collins who took such loving care of her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Agape Christian Fellowship located at 4400 Lincoln Avenue in Groves, Texas with Pastors Steve Grohn and Jeff Anderson officiates.
