Dr. Irma Vargas Dailey, 58, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care Hospital in Nederland, Texas. She was born November 15, 1953 in El Paso, Texas to Antonio and Lydia Vargas. Dr. Dailey was a Family Practitioner and resident of this area for the past 13 years. She was also a member of Abundant Life Sanctuary Church. Survivors include her husband, Steven Dailey of Groves; daughter, Crystal Dailey of Groves; son, Christopher Dailey of Groves; brother, Antonio Vargas, Jr. and wife, Martha of El Paso; and grandchild, Brylee Crum. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Abundant Life Sanctuary in Groves with Reverend David Myer and Reverend Jason Myer officiating. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Evergreen Cemetery in El Paso, Texas under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A visitation for family and friends was held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
