Isaac “Hesser” Westbrook, 89, of Lumberton, Texas., passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Beaumont, Texas. Hesser was born on July, 4, 1928 in Ennis, Texas., to the late, Riley Valentine Westbrook and Mary Magdalene Westbrook.

Those left to cherish Hesser’s memory are his son’s, Marvin Westbrook and wife, Debra of Raleigh, North Carolina, Louis Westbrook and wife, Jane Ann of Kountze, Texas, Gregory Pratt and wife, Kelli of Lumberton, Texas and Ron Pratt and wife, Becky of Friendswood, Texas.; daughter, Becky Pratt of Lumberton, Texas.; brothers, Billy Westbrook, Robbie Westbrook and wife, Lois, and Harold Westbrook and wife, Nita; sisters, Doris Adamcik and Glenda Moore; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Hesser is preceded in death by his loving wife of 19 years, Joyce Conner Westbrook; son, Hesser Gene Westbrook and his sister, Nita Royder.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Bro. John Morgan will preside over the service. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas.
