Isabelle “Isy” Emma Spradlin, 91, of Nederland, TX passed away October, 2, 2015. She was born November 17, 1923, in Forest, OH to the late William Stewart and Emma Shumaker Stewart.

Isy attended First United Methodist Church of Nederland.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Carol Stewart; caregiver/niece, Suzy Boyd both of Findlay, OH; numerous nieces and nephews.

Including her parents, Isy was preceded in death by her husband of 50 yrs, Thomas Spradlin; sisters, Geneviene Dean, Helen March, Mabel Barbas, Oleta Lundien, Lulu Holden, Eleanor Dishong; brothers, Foster, Richard and Raymond Stewart, Sr.

A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, October 4, 2015, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, TX. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 5, 2015 at 10 a.m., also at the Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Tony Miller. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park – Serenity Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to First United Methodist Church in Nederland, TX.

The family would like to thank all of her doctors, nurses and staff at The Medical Center of SETX and Altus Hospice Care. A very special thanks to her caregivers, Mary Ann Windam, Ana Camandang and Dory Cruz.
