Mr. Guarnere was a friendly man who never met a stranger. I always enjoyed spending time with him, listening to his stories about serving in the Marines. He was an honest man; a generous man; and he loved his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

JD was one of the finest gentleman I've ever met. Behind that unforgettable smile was a joke to tell or a fantastic story of his incredible military service. I will miss all of those things about JD. Our thoughts go out to JoAnn and their sons. Your husband and father was and in everyone's memory will be remembered as a very fine man. Madison and Allen Sedtal.

J.d.was my uncle...Always loved hearing his stories about WW2...Had a great personality and very giving...My greatest memory of J.D. is when he would come over to my dads (Frank)house and spend time with him reminiscing about their childhood together and telling stories during my dads bout with cancer before my dad passed... J.D. had a way of making you feel welcome.....Rest in peace Uncle J.D...We will all see you soon.....Ron Guarnere
