J.R. Ertell, Jr.

J.R. Ertell, Jr., 62, of Many, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015. He was born on November 20, 1952 in Port Sulphur, Louisiana to Frank Rainey Ertell, Sr. and Joretta Reeder. He worked in construction as an Electrician.

J.R. is survived by his daughters, Sandi Voegele and husband, Ray of Port Neches and Melissa Ertell of Oklahoma; his father, Frank Ertell, Sr. of Vancouver, Washington; brothers, Todd Ertell of Oregon, Bernie Ertell of Oregon, and Rainey Ertell of Vancouver, Washington; sisters, Kristie Zella and husband, Alvin of Victoria, Texas and Kari Nelson and husband, Sidney of Victoria, Texas; grandchildren, Kristen Miller, Karysa Voegele, and Eric Voegele; and two great-grandchildren, Adryenne Miller and Gage Miller. He is preceded in death by his mother.

Graveside Services will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Andy Sink officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
