Jack Johnson

bJack Johnson, 90, of Nederland, Texas passed away December 1st, 2009 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. He was born June 11, 1919 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Harvey Elrose and Thelma Turnbull Johnson. He retired as a pipefitter machinist and enjoyed going to the Best Years Center in Beaumont.He is survived by his wife, Flo Woosley Johnson of Kountze son, Jim Johnson of Vidor daughter, Lyn Bankston of Kountze daughter and soninlaw, Teresa and Dewayne Jenkins of Lake Livingston and 17 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren, and 7 greatgreatgrandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Thelma Johnson daughter, Sheila Warlick sons, Michael and Tom Johnson and grandson, Rocky Herring.A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland on Thursday, December 10, 2009 with a memorial service to follow at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be given to the Best Years Center in Beaumont, 780 S. 4th Street, Beaumont, b
