Jack Selman Richardson

Jack Selman Richardson, 80, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, July 14, 2010. Jack was born December 7, 1929 in Kickapoo, Texas to Earl and Rosa Jordan Richardson. He was a resident of Groves for 55 years and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was a retired operator from Texaco refinery and served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Norma Richardson of Groves, TX; daughter, Charlene Case and husband, Mark of Shady Shores, TX; sister, Vivian Graham of Winnie, TX; brother, Leonard Richardson and wife, Pattie of Nome, TX; two grandchildren, Mitchell Case and Andrew Case. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Chris Bottoms officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
