Jacquelyn Cousins

Jacquelyn Cousins, 90, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Jacquelyn was born November 13, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas to Jack Faulkner and Tossie Sapp Faulkner Myrick. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Groves First United Methodist Church. Jacquelyn retired as a medical transcriptionist from St. Mary Hospital after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Cousins, Jr.; and two sisters, Norma Dunn, and Ruth Toney. Survivors include her three sons, Larry Cousins of Groves, Douglas Cousins and wife Karen of Spring, Brandon Cousins and wife Sharon of Groves; grandchildren, Casey Cousins and wife Marcela, Danielle Cousins, Katrina Cousins, Adina Cousins, and Angelina Mallet and husband Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Justin Myatt and wife Jessica, Julie Myatt and wife Miranda, Tyler Battenfield and wife Taiylor, and Alyssa Battenfield; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Marty Boddie officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
