James O'Neal Alhman, 98, of Orange, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. James was born September 24, 1912 to Alfred Augusta Alhman and Myrtle Inez Paxton Alhman. He was a longtime area resident. He was preceded in death by his wife and two brothers. Survivors include his son, Charles Ahlman of Port Arthur; and sister, Eleanor Kelly. Graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Premont Cemetery in Premont, Texas under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.
