James Henry Berwick, Sr., 60, of Port Neches, Texas died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. James was born December 3, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas to Frank Berwick and Nancy Stanley Berwick. He was a lifelong area resident and a Boilermaker with Echo Maintenance. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the funeral home. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Betty Berwick of Port Neches, Texas; daughters, Amanda Berwick of Port Neches, Texas; Tabitha Bushman and husband Chris of Colorado; sons, James Berwick, Jr. of Beaumont, Texas; Johnathan Berwick and wife Randi of Port Arthur, Texas; sisters, Martha Gamble and husband Joseph of Bridge City, Texas; Theressa Berwick and husband Mike Holley of Beaumont, Texas; Mary Berwick and husband James Vercher of Bridge City, Texas; Yalanda LeJuene and husband Darrell of Deweyville, Texas; brothers, Charles Berwick and wife Nancy of Orangefield, Texas; Kevin Berwick of Bridge City, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

I was shocked when I herd this...James was the hardest worker and just good person you would every want to meet..I was lucky to have worked around this man. I've been retired A couple of years now so don't know what happened. I Just want the family to know, he was A good Man...God bless this family ..RIP My Friend..Mike Calais
