James Wade Cady, 75, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his residence in Nederland with his loving family at his side.

James was born on July 12, 1948, in Orange, Texas to Jerrie Nell Kennon Cady and James Richard Dorman. He was a retired operator for many years and a United States Army Veteran. James loved his family dearly and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

James is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Anna Genuardi Cady of Nederland and many other family and friends who he loved dearly.

Private family graveside services will be conducted at a later date.

I am James's stepsister. One Christmas when we were together..... James wanted bike for Christmas. He had decided there was no Santa. We tore the house in Riverside apart but never found any presents. BUT we both got what we wanted for Christmas! Such fun and smiles. I looked up to him and loved him dearly!

James Cady was a very loved and dear friend of ours. James always had a smile and a good laugh for me. I could sit for hours and chat with James. We just “clicked!” We are very saddened that he has gone before us, but We know he struggled to enjoy life during these past years.
