James Calvin Monts, Sr.

James Calvin Monts, Sr., 88, of Pasadena passed away on February 20, 2013 at Vista Continuing Care Nursing Home. He was born on December 4, 1924 in Nederland to the late Oscar and Willie Mae Monts. James retired as a Merchant Marine.Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the ion of Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland.James is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, James C. Monts, Jr., Jason Monts, and Jay Monts daughters, Sandra Clark and Stana Juarez brothers, Mickey Coleman and Ernest Larson sisters, Lois Cash and Betty 4 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
