Thanks to all for your kind words about our dad. We are however, disturbed to read comments that are really not meant for memorials. Unless you were actually a part of this journey with dad, you cannot fully understand all that has happenend to him over the last 10 years, long before he made decisions that we had to accept. I am his oldest daughter and along with my siblings, we were responsible for his care and well being when others turned their backs and continued enjoying their life. We were responsible for getting him the care and attention he needed during a very difficult time and we have no regrets. It allowed us to share some of the most precious moments with him that otherwise may have been shadowed by drama and self pity. We were with him until the end and if our mother were still alive she would have been as well. 'Til death us do part.

Donna what a wonderful and moving eulogy you gave your dad about his 'real life', the one with you and your siblings and Aunt Sylvia. His last years were robbed of so many things due to his illness; his love for painting, his memory of his true friends and family, and saddest of all an inability to judge someones character; believing in someone that he thought would be there til the end. I'm glad he is getting to miss this 'pitty party' for her because this is about him He is back in the arms of his only true love Aunt Sylvia for eternity. What a wonderful feeling it must be for you, Jamie,Jay and Renee to know they are together again. I love you cuz....

Don was a good friend of mine. We would go out to eat with him and his wife, Nada. They loved to dance. They were so in love with each other. Our class would eat out every month and they would come until he got so sick, he could not come any more. So sorry for him and his Brother. Love you. Nada took such good care of him.

So sorry for your loss Nada. You had 6 years together and I know he loved being married to you. Your support of his art work and your dancing brought him much joy. We always enjoyed being with you guys and know he would not approve of the way you are being treated. Glad he was part of our family. You took care of him as long as you could; no regreats. Remember the happy times.

Don painted a picture for my neice that was beautiful. He was very talented. He and Nada had 6 good years together, and I am glad he did not spend his final days alone- he was with someone he loved, and she loved him. He was well taken care of by you,Nada, and I am so sorry for your loss. How you are being treated is shameful and ridiculous. He will rest in peace knowing your love was genuine and unconditional until the end.

Aunt Nada I am so sorry for your loss. I know how excited you were to find Uncle Don after you lost your first husband and how much you cared for each other these last 6 years. It was wonderful to see you guys so happy. I know how hard it was to watch Uncle Don suffer from Alzeheimers and how hard it is to take care of someone with this horrible disease, having gone through the same thing with my Dad. It's a shame to have the added stress of everything you are going through right now. Know that God is with you and your family during this time.
