James "Ed" Crawford, 82, of Fannett, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Ed was born April 14, 1936 in Beaumont, Texas to Vernon Malcolm Crawford and Helen Frances Beihler Crawford. He was a lifelong area resident and was a self-employed carpenter for over 50 years. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Carolyn Crawford of Fannett; daughters, Janet Crawford of Houston, and Sherri Herring and husband Robert of Fannett; sons, Josh Crawford and wife Patty of Vidor, and James Bergeron and wife Monica of Fannett; grandchildren, Ashlee Waak, Meghin Crawford, Amber Lakey, Blake Bergeron, Kyle Herring, Bryan Bergeron; and great-granddaughter, Marley Lakey. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
