James D. Daigle, 66, of Port Neches, Texas died Monday, February 8, 2010 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. James was born August 25, 1943 in Port Arthur, Texas to Tarlton Daigle and Lelia Hollier Daigle. He was a lifelong resident of this area and retired from the US Army. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the American Legion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Rev. Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service to begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Daigle. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Arceneaux and husband, Sidney of Orange, Texas, Carla Simon and husband, John of Groves, Texas; brother, Richard Daigle of Arlington, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Cody Arceneaux, Jake Arceneaux, Zachary Simon, Haley Simon and Whitney Simon.
