James Donald Domingue, 79, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on July 20, 1933 to the late Melvin Joseph and Lottie Mae Domingue. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Army. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland and the Knights of Columbus as a 4th Degree Knight. He retired from GulfChevron where he was a supervisor.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Msgr. Dan Malain celebrant. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.James is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna Domingue of Nederland his daughter, Julie Broussard of Nederland his grandchildren, Drew, Trey, and Drake Broussard, all of Nederland his brother, Wayne Domingue and wife, Linda of Fannett his sister, Charlotte Grant and husband, Errol of Kountze and many relatives as well as many close friends.
