James “Tee” Dufour, 85, of Groves, Texas passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022. James was born in Port Arthur, Texas on February 5, 1937 to the late, Byron Dufour and Laurence Fabre Dufour.
James was a 1956 graduate of Bishop Byrne High School. He proudly served our country for eight years in the Army National Guard and retired from Huntsman Chemical, formerly Jefferson/Texaco Chemical, after 37 years of service. Throughout his life, “Tee” enjoyed camping with his family at Sam Rayburn Lake, fishing, gardening, going on cruises, and watching college football, particularly the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Astros. However, his greatest love was his family who he cherished deeply. He was a great worrier, so much so that he passed this trait on to his daughters. “Tee” was the best husband, girl dad and paw paw that anyone could ask for. He was a great role model and lived his life by example.
