Real sorry to hear about Mr Durham, he was the only history teacher pretty much ever knew thru Woodlawn Jr High & then at PNG. Thought about the history lessons thru out the years as my own kids were in school & thankful for the way he taught them. He was one of my favorite teachers & respected him both as a teacher & a man. Thanks Mr. Durham

I grew up with Tippy in Woodville and loved it when his father, Hill, came to our music evenings and played his banjo and told jokes. Had not seen Tip for a long time but have not forgotten. I am the daughter of Clyde and Linnie Durham. Clyde is a first cousin of Hill. My condolences to the family.

My deepest sympathy to the Durham family! Mr. Durham was my history teacher at Woodlawn in Groves in the early 60's, he left a life long impression on me as a compassionate dedicated teacher that I never forgot. Take comfort in knowing how many lives he touched in the classroom as well as on the field. He truly will be missed!

Charlotte, Tip will be remembered for many things. I can't remember not knowing you both, such a precious memory. May GOD BLESS you and Tippy 2 and family in this sad and trying time. Aunt Laura & Uncle Marvin loved watching their Tippy 2 growing up. You are so loved and I'm sending you a big hug and kiss. Tip was a great Christian man, and we don't have to wonder where he is. Heaven has a wonderful new soul.

There will never be another person that so totally represents PNGISD as Mr Durham has done. Not only as the best ever sports announcer, but as a teacher and a person as well. The entire community will feel the loss for years to come. Thank you for giving and sharing yourself with us all...we love you

My thoughts and prayers are with the Durham family. He will be remembered for much more than his voice on Friday nights at the Reservation. He touched many lives off the field as he did in the pressbox. Heaven has a new voice....and what a gift heaven has in Mr. Durham! May God bless you Durham family and keep you close during this sad time.
